Welcome to Chantier, the home of statement lighting designs.  All of our lampshades are designed, curated and handmade to order by our small but brilliant team here in Lithuania. Please see below for our Lampshade Specifications.

LAMPSHADE FITTINGS:

Our lampshades are made using industry standard lampshade ring sets, suitable for use on UK, USA and EU standard lamps and flex and fitting sets. We provide a reducing ring in the central ring fitting allowing you to convert the lampshade from an 39mm / ES27 fitting to a 29mm / Smaller Bayonet Fitting. Our lampshades will fit on a lamp with an American style harp but will not fit on a lamp which requires a lampshade carrier.  These can be ordered on request so please do not hesitate to get in touch with your requirements.

The bulb holder component in the centre of the lampshade sits 4cm up from the bottom of a lampshade for a lamp, or 4cm down from the top of a ceiling pendant lampshade. If you have an arc floor lamp you will need to order your lampshade for a ceiling pendant meaning the fittings will be at the top of the lampshade.

No Flex and Fitting set or Table lamp is included in the cost of our Lampshades. The Lampshades are sold as just the Shade and the flex / table lamp is purely used for photography purposes.

LAMPSHADE SIZING:

We show our lampshade sizing in both cms and inches, please refer to our Product Information  to find the right shape and then choose your size from the drop down menu.

FABRIC & WALLPAPER SAMPLES:

Colours, textures and tones can look different on different computer and mobile screens, so we always encourage requesting free fabric and wallpaper samples first. You can order your free samples by email neringa@chantier.Lt

METALLIC LINED LAMPSHADES:

Three layers of materials are used to make our Gold and Copper lined shades; the foil lining, the pvc, then your chosen fabric or wallpaper.  This allows the colour on the outside of the shade to stay rich and opaque.
No light can permeate through the sides of the shade, meaning the light is directional and will reflect off the metallic lining giving a wonderfully warm glow from the top and bottom of the shade.
The amount of light from the lampshade will depend on the size of the shade you order, ie: the bigger the shade, the more light you will receive.

FRINGING:

Our fringing measures 10cm or 5cms in length, please note the dimensions on the drop down menus and the sizes on our proportions image do not include the fringing measurements.

 BULBS:

The type of bulb required for use with our lampshades will be dependent on the max wattage of the lamp or the flex set you intend on using. Please consult the manufactures guide to find your fitting and max wattage.

Delivery

The lead time for our made to order Lampshades is currently 2 – 3 weeks.

Chantier is a small, dedicated family team who lovingly hand make all our lampshades to order. We aim to dispatch our lampshades within 2 – 3 weeks. During busy periods such as Christmas and/or any promotional Sales this lead time can increase to 3 – 4 weeks. Please contact us if you are in a rush for your order as we will do everything we can to help you meet your deadlines.

Any other item ordered from the Chantier website will have a lead time of 3 – 5 working days unless otherwise stated on the product copy.

All orders are dispatched worldwide with Lithuanian Post, Omniva and other couriers on a tracked and insured service.

Please Note: International Shipping charges will be estimated at Checkout.

Return

You have the right to cancel your order at any time from the moment you place your online order, and up to 14 days from the day you receive your goods. You must notify us via email at neringa@chantier.Lt if you wish to cancel your order within this time period.  You then have a further 14 days from the date you notify us of your cancellation to return your order.

A credit note will be issued to the value of the item(s) returned if the request to return is made after the 14 days from the date of delivery. No Credit notes or refunds will be given if the request to return your order is made after 2 months from the date of delivery.

Personalised / Bespoke Lampshades.
Refunds and/or credit notes will not be issued on any bespoke, made for you lampshades. These include lampshades which are not part of our current stock collection available to view online. For example: if you provide your own material or choose a size or colour combination outside our set stock sizes available online.

Please remember that all our lampshades are lovingly handmade to order so we ask that you make sure to measure your space carefully to ensure you order the correct size is ordered to avoid returns.  We are on hand to advise on sizing if need be.
We offer free fabric swatches of all our fabrics and wallpapers.  Please remember that computer, phone and tablet screens reproduce colours differently.

The cost of return postage is the buyers responsibility, unless otherwise arranged.

If your order has been damaged in transit you must inform us within 24 hours so we can contact our post office or courier and send you a replacement. Please note we will require pictures of the damaged lampshade and packaging.
